Every year the school celebrates its Sports Day in the month of January. It is one of the most loved events of the year, the children very longingly look forward to it. The month of January is earmarked for the occasion, as, at this time, the weather is pleasing for a long span of games on the field. When this day is about to come, there appears to be a lot of activity in the entire school premises as arrangements take time.
The school believes that sports is an integral part of education and in Doon Public School, children are taught various sorts of games and are taught gross motor skills in very early stages to keep their value in life.
